The third edition of the Lester Literary Update is out now, with this issue focused on Minnesota and Wisconsin writers working in the podcast space. We’ve got interviews with Jonathan Goldstein, V. V. Ganeshananthan, Michael Kleber-Diggs and more.
“A couple of seasons ago I did [an episode] about my friend Lenny. [who] was dying of pancreatic cancer…That one felt like I was going some place very deep, and trying to get at the source of why I’m doing what I’m doing in the first place.” —Jonathan Goldstein, creator and host of Heavyweight
You’ll also find an interview with Jennifer Thompson of the Nordlyset Literary Agency, podcast job openings, best podcasts for writers, and the best Onion headlines about podcasts (gems like: “Man Somehow Able To Muster Strength To Fold Laundry Without Listening To Podcast.”)
There’s also an interview with Deborah Copperud, host of the Read MN Books podcast, about how to start your own podcast, as well as a short history of the podcast and more.
