Book of the Year: Still True

Some years ago, I was teaching a class in Madison, Wisconsin on how to be a freelance writer. A woman named Maggie Ginsberg showed, and by the time the second class rolled around, she had already written and published her first story. She was a natural.

Maggie went on to be an editor at Madison Magazine, but more importantly, she is one of the best writers I know. And now her first novel, Still True just came out and is getting rave reviews. I can honestly say it’s as good as anything I’ve read by her. So come to the reading if you’re in Minneapolis. You can register here.

But if you cause make it, treat yourself to this book:
