The new Best American Travel Writing is coming out soon, and I was really happy to see one of my stories, Exploring the Polar Bear Capital of the World, on the “Notable Travel Writing.” Thanks to my editor at Artful Living, Kate Nelson, for giving it a home. It was a fantastic trip to a place I’d always wanted to go.

Congrats also to Jim Benning, Jina Moore, Meghan Daum and all the other hard-working writers who made the anthology. Always nice to see good work rewarded.
